Classification Case report
Resolution of lower 2nd molar impaction is often challenging and complex, and often require early diagnosis and treatment. Treatment modalities included uprighting spring, open coiled-spring, Ni-Ti wire and surgical reposition used depending by patient conditions and orthodontist experiences. In this article, the authors present an adult case using open-coil spring to upright the bilateral mandibular 2nd molars mesio-angular impaction, and to treat the distal subgingival deep caries of 1st molar.
